Your Guide To Windows 8 eBook Cawley Christian

I recently got Windows 8. I got the book to help me understand how to use it. I haven't finished the book yet so it might get better. It does have some helpful info, but I think some things changed from when he wrote the book because some things he suggested don't work. He praises Windows 8 - I do not agree with these "improvements" at all! I think Windows 8 is a major step backwards. It takes several steps to do what you used to be able to do in one. Everything is harder to do in Windows 8. On the good side - he has helped me move from actively hating Windows 8 to just very much disliking it.

Seems apologetic in talking about the new interface, and rightfully so. Great value. Ironic that I had to use my wife's Fire to figure out how to use my own new computer.
the item provides a lot of wonderful information. However it must be in a 4 font and therefore it is nearly impossible to read it.
Getting Windows 8 for me was like buying a hand full of confusion. This book helped but I still am trying to wash away some of the confusion.
when I upgraded to windows 8 I really thought I had messed up. everything looked so different. after I got the guide I was sane again! I am starting to enjoy windows 8. thanks!!! good seller too.
I sat down and read this book in one setting, it was easy to read and understand. I will use this book as a reference book when I get into trouble. I have not worked on Windows 8 but after reading this book I am looking forward to using this system.
As a long time Windows user I had hoped this book would focus on the difference between Win 8 and earlier versions. Instead there was a lot of basic stuff that any experience Windows user already would know.
Having said that, the book was very well formatted for the , which was a breath of fresh air, but in the end content is more important than form.
everything that i have read from christian cawley has always helped me flow more easily through many microsoft applications. he is able to write in a way that is understanable even for the technologically challenged like myself. i really was pleased that mr. cawley wrote up a guide to windows 8, i just purchased a new netbook running windows 8 and find that it can be fun when you have the right guide like this one to reference.
